Glassdoor just recently released the results of its fourth annual Employees’ Choice Awards, which recognize the 50 Best Places to Work for 2012. The big winners were Bain & Company, McKinsey & Company, Facebook, MITRE and Google who took top five spots.
Glassdoor says more than 250,000 employees from more than 65,000 companies took part in the survey on what it’s like to work at their place of employment during the past year and shared the good, the bad and everything in between.
Unlike other workplace awards, Glassdoor Employee’s Choice Awards does not allow for self-nomination but rather relies on what the employees have to say when it comes to their satisfaction with workplace factors like compensation & benefits, work-life balance and career advancement opportunities. The awards also take into account how well employees feel their CEO is leading the company.
