PaidEmployment.com's College Rankings

The Best Colleges 2012

There are many college rankings out there with all of them claiming to have the best method for selecting the best colleges in the United States. However as is often the case, the results then to vary wildly and this has can be a source of confusion to many parents and teenagers researching which colleges to apply to.

In September, 2009 CBS Moneywatch ranked the raters and it’s the results of the in-depth look at their methodologies that gave rise to PaidEmployment.com’s rankings of colleges. We took the latest results of each of the rankings lists, gave each individual college a score based on its ranking in each individual list. The score was then weighted by the rating the rater received from Moneywatch’s review and found the sum of the weighted scores. It is this sum of weighted scores that was used to generate PaidEmployment.com's results. Find out more about our methodology here.
